If your natural nails are weakened or damaged, it’s important to give them an extra dose of care and attention. Here are some tips to support and strengthen your natural nails:
1. Proper removal
It’s very important to remove Maniko Nails carefully and with plenty of Remover Serum. Never pull the nails off the nail plate. Gently loosen the adhesive layer, especially without applying pressure. You can find tips for proper removal here.
2. A simple method to pamper and strengthen your natural nails: a milk bath
A milk bath provides moisture and nutrients to your nails, helping them regenerate. You can easily integrate the milk bath as a care step between applications.
Recipe:
200–300 ml whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
1 pinch of salt
2 tablespoons almond oil
1 teaspoon honey
Warm the milk slightly and mix all ingredients. Soak your nails in it for 10–15 minutes. Done! You’ll notice the difference right away. Additionally, you can gently smooth your nails with a buffing file. Before reapplying your Maniko Nails, make sure to thoroughly remove all oil residues so they adhere perfectly.
3. Use Maniko Cuticle Oil regularly
Gently massage the oil into your cuticles to strengthen and moisturize them, allowing your nails to grow back healthy.
4. Maintain a healthy diet
A balanced diet with sufficient vitamins, minerals, and proteins is essential for nail health. Pay particular attention to nutrients like biotin, vitamin E, and omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to promote healthy nails.
If your nails are severely damaged, wait to reapply until they have recovered. Do a milk bath every 3 days and use nail oil daily. In case of serious problems, please contact a doctor or dermatologist.
